Successful Change Begins With Emotionally Intelligent Leadership
70% of change initiatives fail. Most often, these failures are due to poor performance by leadership.
In this training, we’ll examine why taking an emotionally intelligent approach to leadership can mean the difference between a successful change initiative and one that fails.
Emotionally intelligent leaders are better able to understand how different people adapt to change. These leaders can more effectively address the challenges and issues associated with any change and build greater trust among team members. Greater trust will overcome many of the obstacles associated with change.
You’ll understand that any organizational change is an emotional event. By recognizing what emotions are in play, the emotionally intelligent leader can better manage the change process.
You’ll leave with a greater appreciation of the value of emotionally intelligent leadership and how it can positively impact change at any level in the organization.
Getting the Right People on the Bus
As a follow-up to our program “Successful Change begins with Emotionally Intelligent Leadership,” we take a deeper dive into the social and behavioral elements that define Emotionally Intelligent Leaders from others in their orbit. We will dissect a common model for describing where people fall on the EQ spectrum and discuss ways that you can leverage EQ to create more productive and harmonious relationships. We will also look at how to apply this model to selecting individuals most likely to succeed in change management initiatives, and how to assist others to come along for the ride.
FREE RESOURCE: As part of this program, we’ll offer an article in PDF that you can use as the basis for educating internally.
Building a Kaizen Culture
In this session we will discuss how and why Kaizens have been such an effective vehicle for change. We will share the requirements for planning and executing successful Kaizen events, and offer a step-by-step guide to your first Kaizen event. If you’ve already led these events, we bet you’ll gain some useful tips from this training.
If you have never led a Kaizen, you’ll leave this training confident in your ability to introduce this approach to your organization. Run enough Kaizen events and you will create a Kaizen culture that can take you and your organization to new heights.
FREE RESOURCE: This training offers a free Kaizen Tool Kit. Details shared during training.

Lean vs. Six Sigma: Better, Faster, Cheaper
Lean and Six Sigma are improvement methods that have contributed to making products and services better, faster and cheaper. But how do they work, what makes the methods similar, and what makes them different? Moreover, how can you begin applying these concepts in your daily work? We will demystify Lean and Six Sigma, share simple definitions and demonstrate simple applications, and introduce tools and exercises that you can bring to your own teams as the first step in producing great results.
The ABC’s of Problem Solving: A3, Basic Tools & Change Management
In this program will explain how problem solving drives transformational change, demystify the “A3“ approach, and introduce simple tools and strategies to take charge of your efforts to drive the change in culture you wish to see in your organization.
Participants will learn:
- How Problem Solving drives Cultural Transformation
- Problem Solving Methodologies Including A3 Approach
- How to Properly Define a Problem, Grasp the Situation, and Avoid Falling into Problem Solving Pitfalls
- Selected Basic Tools for Determine Root Cause Including 5 Why’s, Fishbone, and other tools to support Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
Free Tool Offered: A Fishbone Diagram tool that converts output into a Pareto Chart.
Six Sigma Demystified
Learn what makes Six Sigma such a powerful methodology for making products better, faster and cheaper.
Tool-of-the-Month Club: The Critical to Quality (CTQ) Tree
The CTQ Tree is the foundation of many process improvement methodologies including PDSA, Lean and Six Sigma. In this program we share the tool, illustrate its use, and share case study examples.
Participants will receive a tool from the COMPASS® Quality Management System corresponding with the topic of this program. Each TOTM program is designed to last 45 minutes or less. If you miss this program and view the recording, you may receive the tool by sending your request to info@creato.com.
Complete the entire series and receive an official Certificate of Completion.
Tool-of-the-Month Club: The Histogram
When it comes to creating a snapshot of process performance that illustrates the “Voice of the Process,” there may be no better tool than the histogram. More than this, the histogram is the starting point for discussions about Capability, a Six Sigma metric. In this session we will share various ways to create the histogram, how to effectively interpret the output, and how to leverage the information contained within it.
Tool-of-the-Month Club: The IMR Chart
The Individuals and Moving Range Chart is one of the most powerful tools to understand how your process is performing over time. An IMR Chart can reveal shifts, trends, cycles as well as other information necessary to understand how your process is performing. The IMR Chart is an important baselining tool to understand if a process is meeting expectations. It can also help to understand the impact of interventions you may have planned.
