Creato (www.creato.com) announced today that it will offer free training to U.S. Veterans as part of their effort to help strengthen the ability of returning veterans to obtain employment.
Creato’s “Lean for Healthcare” program was launched in 2002, and later adopted in 2005 by The American Society for Quality as their product of choice for Lean training within healthcare environments. In addition to being licensed by ASQ for its worldwide membership and used extensively across Creato’s own client network, the Lean program was also piloted this year at The University of Michigan to augment the curriculum within their Graduate School of Public Health. Hundreds of professionals from a variety of different industries have completed the Creato course.
The ability to apply lean principles in the workplace is in high demand among employers. Creato hopes that its efforts to practice good corporate citizenship will make U.S. veterans more competitive in the demanding workplace to which they will return after serving their country. Creato will maintain evidence of the scholarship within its database for verification purposes with potential employers.
