Creato announced the successful completion of a pilot program with The University of Michigan Department of Health Management and Policy to test the viability of integrating Creato’s Lean online training program with the graduate program curriculum. Ten first-year students from within the graduate program were selected to test Creato’s product during the health care quality course.
Success criteria from the pilot included student’s acknowledgement that the Creato program effectively complemented their classroom lectures and related assignments. Also, students were asked if they believed the Creato program equipped them for a more successful summer internship, or first employment opportunity.
“Overall, I think this has been a fantastic experience,” noted one student in the pilot. “The material was exhaustive and thorough,” noted another. “It set a framework for how projects should be developed and I believe this will definitely help me in the future of process improvement efforts at the workplace.” Feedback from all participating students was universally positive.
