In a sign that companies are beginning to re-invest in quality training, Creato announced three new customers of their online training programs in Lean and Six Sigma for the first quarter of the year, as well as an academic partnership. The clients come from a range of industries include hospice, hospital systems and defense contractors.
Agrace Healthcare (Madison, WI) returned to Creato for Lean training, repeating a program that Creato introduced originally in 2016. Agrace is a premier hospice and palliative care corporation serving the southern Wisconsin region.
Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (Salinas, CA) becomes Creato’s newest deployment client, having licensed not only the company’s online training, but virtual training and the COMPASS® Quality Management System for a broad-based program that will start with 13 students and is expected to expand. The organization, founded in 1953, includes a public district hospital, urgent care facilities and surgery centers.
Finally, Leonardo DRS (Arlington, VA), already a licensee of the COMPASS® Quality Management System, has licensed Creato’s Six Sigma Learning Lab, the company’s flagship online training product. With the benefit of Creato’s training modules, Leonardo intends to train over 1000 staff members in Six Sigma over the next 5 years. Creato will be augmenting the online training with additional training for Six Sigma “Champions” and “Blackbelt” candidates. Leonardo DRS is part of Leonardo, Inc. one of the top 10 largest defense contractors in the world.
In addition to these commercial contracts, Creato also provided its online training programs to the University of California at San Diego as part of a Master’s degree program in project management. The program was previously piloted at The University of Michigan and received strong support from participating students.
“During the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw organizations suspend their training activities because they were either unable to host us onsite, or they were not convinced remote training was a viable alternative,” notes Ian R. Lazarus, President & CEO of Creato. “Thanks to the progress we’ve made in containing the pandemic, combined with greater awareness of our flagship products, we’ve seen greater than average growth in our business for this time of year.”
